What does it train?
- You can train your whole body using a stability ball, in unlimited ways using body weight alone, leveraging the unstable base, (you want unstable) because you have to fully engage your body to remain balanced. With certain complimentary devices you can develop fitness in some creative ways on a stability ball.
Caution – don’t get carried away doing resistance exercise while trying to balance on a ball. What you think is functional training, can get very dysfunctional and down right injurious.
